FIREFLIES(Jugnu in hindi) - HOW DO THEY PRODUCE LIGHT / GLOW ?

Average life span in the wild:About 2 months
Size:Up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) i.e. a paper clip sized
 
Fireflies have dedicated light organs that are located under their abdomens.
Its contains a special internal cell which help to combine the inhaled OXYGEN with a substance called
LUCIFERIN producing light with almost no heat. !!!
There are about 2,000 firefly species and each species have different glowing pattern
