ORION NEBULA also known as(Messier 42, M42, or NGC 1976) .
Simply talking its a huge gas cloud (mostly hydrogen) and is lit up by the young forming stars within the nebula.It is estimated to be at the distance of "24 LIGHT YEAR" from earth
1 light yr = 9,460,730,472,580.8 km.
